LegUp - For 2001 & Later GL1800 Gold Wing's
LegUp™ is happy to announce that it has been adapted to 2001 and up GL1800 Motorcycles. Now you Gold Wing owners that could use a LegUp™ can get one.
It took quite a bit of engineering, but as you can see from the pictures The system looks and works great!! The computer system hides inside the trunk beautifully, and the handlebar control box, is mounted neatly below the grip for easy access.
The system costs $3,495 (Or the Lite Version for $500 less!), and is available immediately! If you are having trouble handling the weight of these bikes as they stop, this system is going to make your riding so much more comfortable.
The wheels work exactly like the Harley system. They can be deployed just before the bike stops, and retract automatically upon acceleration. You can even lean the bike somewhat with the wheels lowered. When the wheels are up, the bike is not compromised at all! Lean into turns all you like... You can't do that on a trike or other outrigger-type systems.
No structural changes are required to install or remove the LegUp™ system. The main attachment point to the bike is where the center stand is mounted. The LegUp™ mount replaces the center stand (not needed any more as you can park your bike with the legs down!). The only cutting required is some minor trimming of the catalytic converter covers on each side to clear the uprights just below the rear floorboards.
These modifications are invisible, even if the LegUp™ system is moved to your next bike!. We recommend a qualified shop install the system, mostly because so many covers need to be removed and installed, the install could prove intimidating. If you would like to check out the 'Installation' or 'User' Manuals click MANUAL! The system is $3,495 (Or the Lite Version for $500 less!).
