LegUp - For Yamaha Stratoliner / Roadliner
LegUp™ is happy to announce that it has been adapted to the Yamaha Stratoliner/RoadLiner models! Now you Stratoliner owners that could use a LegUp™ can get one.
Compared to other models, this Yamaha was a bit easier to adapt to the LegUp™ System. Dave Garibotti helped convince us to undertake this bike. We are hoping to be able to adapt this to similar Yamaha Machines (We have fouind out that the Roadliner is a GREAT fit!).
Being as wide as the back of this bike is, we had to make some changes to get the actuator far enough outboard to clear everything, while still having the bracket that holds it be strong enough to support the bike. We came up with a unique methodology that not only made the support strong, it has allowed us to improve other models we are developing.
When we finished, we wound up with a VERY sturdy and discreet installation on the Stratoliner. The wheels hide very wheel when they are raised, and work very well when lowered!
The system costs $3,495 (or consider our LITE system for $500 less!), and is available immediately! If you are having trouble handling the weight of these bikes as they stop, this system is going to make your riding so much more comfortable.
The wheels work exactly like the system on the big bikes. They can be deployed just before the bike stops, and retract automatically upon acceleration. You can even lean the bike somewhat with the wheels lowered. When the wheels are up, the bike is not compromised at all! Lean into turns all you like... You can't do that on a trike or other outrigger-type systems.
No structural changes are required to install or remove the LegUp™ system on the Stratoliner.
